Art Therapy

Art Therapy helps you communicate thoughts and feelings you might struggle to verbalise in a counselling session. Art making is a way to connect and express yourself. Having the freedom to make art without judgement in a supportive environment, can enhance mental health and wellbeing, relieve stress and anxiety, while supporting you to navigate an ever changing and often confusing world.

Why Scribbly Bark…..

Dubbed the original bush artists, the larvae of the scribbly gum moth records it’s journey on the bark of the tree. The ‘scribbles’ tell the story of the bush artist’s life cycle, and as the hard outer layer of bark peels away to reveal the trails and paths taken, the larvae, moving towards transformation, turns around and retraces the scars of it’s previous journey. The intertwined scribbles left on the tree are the bush artist’s mark making, recording and giving expression to the artist’s life journey.
