NDIS Registered Provider
Welcome NDIS Participants.
You can access Art Therapy and/or Counselling in Capacity Building, under “Improved daily living, therapeutic supports” unit number 0128. Our fees are in line with the current NDIS rate for services (see appointment page).
This looks like it is changing and art therapy may no longer be claimable through NDIS.
Art Therapy is an enjoyable way to express your thoughts and how you are feeling.
Some people are confident at making art and come to the session knowing what they want to do.
Other people might be a bit less confident and feel unsure.
That’s all fine, art therapy is for everyone, no matter what your art making skills are.
It’s not an art class or art lesson, however I am there supporting you the whole time, a helping hand if you feel stuck.
If you aren’t sure what art materials you feel like using we can explore that together, I am there to guide you and help you decide.
In a session we will talk about what’s on your mind, any thoughts and feelings you are having.
Then you will make some art.
Lastly we will talk about your art together.
You can tell me how making art felt and the story behind your art.
